This professional development session is based on the work of Patrick Lencioni and highlights essential understandings for principals and district-level administrative teams. Rhonda customizes this workshop to introduce the three signs of a miserable job and what principals and leaders can do to combat each of them.  Participants will leave with a better understanding of the three principles and a specific plan of things to implement for their team.
"Don't let the simplicity of the message fool you. These three components provided powerful, practical, real-world solutions for improving results by putting people first in our district.  It was a simple, but essential piece we were missing and has made a tremendous impact in our schools."     ~Becky B., school administrator - Florence, KY
  • Anonymity - Does each person in your organization feel "known" by you as the leader? Do they feel understood and appreciated for their unique qualities or do they feel invisible or anonymous?
  • Irrelevance - Does each person in your organization know that his/her job matters to someone?  Do they see a connection between their work and the satisfaction of another group in the school?
  • Immeasurement - Does each person in your organization know how to gauge his/her progress?  Is there a tangible means of assessing success as it pertains to the relevance of their position?  Teachers? Aides? Secretaries? Custodians? Cafeteria Staff?

This workshop (based on the work of Patrick Lencioni) reveals the five dysfunctions that go to the very heart of why teams - even the best ones - often struggle.  Rhonda outlines a powerful model with action steps that can be used to overcome these common hurdles and build a cohesive, effective team.
"This fine work is a must for any leader that has come to grips with the fact that no school makes progress - much less success - alone. You must have the critical elements of a team working together in today's educational environment."
 ~Dave H., Superintendent - IN
  • If there is a level of trust on the team, then conflict is possible.
  • If we work through conflict, we can truly commit.
  • If we have a clear sense of what we've committed to do, then we can hold one another accountable.
  • If we don't hold each other accountable, we'll never achieve the results we are capable of attaining.
